Positions Available:




Web & Graphic Designer:
We are looking for an experienced designer to create websites and store templates for a diverse range of small business needs. This individual should have a strong background in creating usable web sites. Previous web design, graphic design or ad agency experience a plus. A successful candidate will be able to complete multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
  • Creation of design materials for a wide range of small business needs: websites, ecommerce store templates, banner ads, custom graphics, and more.
  • Regular communication with project management team, programmers and other designers
  • Manage and complete several different projects weekly.
  • Contribute ideas, suggestions, and skills to the improvement of our design team

Requirements
  • Ability to use Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe illustrator, and/or Macromedia/Adobe Fireworks.
  • Understanding of web design and useability principles, colors, etc.
  • Understanding of HTML / HTML5, XHTML, CSS / CSS3
  • Portfolio with web and/or graphic design samples showing strong design skills
  • Ability to save PhotoShop / illustrator / Fireworks files for use on a PC.
  • Flash design experience a plus
  • Must thrive on implementing pixel-perfect user experiences

What will impress us:
  • A mockup of a new K-Factor website design
  • AgoraCart template design experience
  • Ability to alter HTML and CSS code without visual design software

Location & Hours:
  • Provo, Utah.
    Can work from home but must be in the Utah Valley area
  • Part-time: 5-10 hours per week, Mon-Sat only
  • Can work into more hours

Salary:
  • $10.00 to $15.00 per hour, DOE
  • Profit sharing

Logo & Graphic Designer:
We are looking for an experienced designer to create quick and inexpensive logos (primary function), customized images for websites, brochures and other marketing materials for a diverse range of small business clients as well as for internal needs. This individual should have a strong background in graphic design. Previous logo design, graphic design or ad agency experience a plus. A successful candidate will be able to complete multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
  • Creation of logo designs, both final product and mockups for a wide range of small business clients.
  • Creation of customized graphics & images for internal company websites.
  • Regular communication with project management team, web programmers and other designers
  • Manage and complete several different projects weekly.

Requirements
  • Fluent in Adobe / design software: photoshop, illustrator, fireworks, etc
  • Solid understanding of design principles, color theory, use of space, etc.
  • Portfolio with logo and graphic design samples.
  • Part-timeFlex-time scheduling available

What will impress us:
  • Logo samples showing creativity for mundane business names
  • Ability to create 3 fresh and original professional quality logo mockups under 1 hour

Salary:
  • $9.00 to $15.00 per hour, DOE
  • Profit Sharing

Part-Time Ruby / Web Programmer:
We are looking for an experienced web application programmer with Ruby / RoR experience to work on projects for AgoraCart, AgoraSuite, iMegaMall, and other ecommerce related applications. A successful candidate will be able to complete multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
  • Create ecommerce related web applications in Ruby, Javascript, CSS, HTML and other interpreted langauges
  • Manage and complete several different projects each month.
  • Contribute ideas, suggestions, and skills, to the improvement of our programming team

Requirements:
  • 3+ years with Ruby on Rails
  • Perl experience a plus
  • C++/C# experience a plus
  • JavaScript
  • Extensive MySQL knowledge
  • Thrive on implementing pixel-perfect user experience with CSS and JavaScript

What will impress us:
  • Extensive Perl knowledge
  • C++ / C# app development
  • Knowledge of Cassandra, Redis and other noSQL technologies

Location & Hours:
  • Provo, Utah.
    Can work from home but must be able to meet at least 1-2 times monthly in the Orem/Provo area
  • Part-time: 8+ hours per week, Mon-Sat only
  • Can lead to more hours & additional project types

Salary:
  • $12.00 to $24.00 per hour, DOE
  • Profit Sharing
